Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification –
Higher Secondary examination, certified by “West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education’’ or its equivalent is the minimum educational qualification.
Homeopathic Medical Officers Under State Budget – Candidate must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Homeopathy (BHMS) from a recognized University or Institution recognized by the Central Council of Homeopathy and must be registered with the State or Central Council of Homeopathy, Cooch Behar.
Ayurvedic Medical Officers under State Budget – Candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree(BAMS) in Ayurveda from a University or its equivalent as recognized.
Homeopathic Medical Officers under NHM – Candidate must have passed Masters Degree (MD) and graduation (BHMS). Diploma in Homeopathy (DMS/DHMS) from a Centrally recognized institution or Must be registered with the Homeopathy Council and State or Central Council Homeopathy.
Age Limit – Candidates’ upper age limit should be not be more than 50 years according to their posts. The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, and 10 years for the PWD category.
