| Sub-Assistant Engineer (Civil) | Candidate must have the diploma in civil engineering from a recognised university, or any AICTE approved institute. If the candidate have the experience in civil engineering then they will be preferred much. |
| Sanitary Inspector | Candidate must have passed the class 12th from any recognised board with the diploma in sanitary inspector ship from any government recognised institute. The candidate will be preferred if they have experience in relevant field. |
| Sanitary Assistant | The candidate must be Passed Madhyamik or equivalent from a recognized Board. candidate must be Successfully complete the pre-service training is compulsory. The candidate will be preferred if they have experience in relevant field. |
| Accountant | Candidate must have the graduation in commerce from any recognised university. The candidate will be preferred if they have experience in accounting using computer. |
| Cashier | Candidate must be qualified madyamik or any equivalent exam from a recognised board and two years of experience in accounting. The candidate will be preferred if they have good knowledge in computer. |

WBMSC Recruitment 2024 – Examination process
The examination process will be occurred in two steps:
- Written Test (OMR Based):
- TThis is a OMR paper based test where 100 questions will be there. The total marks is 200 in this paper.
- Each questions carry 02 marks and there is 01 marks negetive marking for each wrong answer.
- The paper is in english language only.
- The total time alloted is 1.5 hours.
- Interview: 40 marks
- The interview will be held in Commission’s office in Kolkata.
- The total number of candidate will be called for the interview is 4 times than the total number of vacancy. There fore if the vacancy is 08 then 32 people will be called for the interview.
- The Personality Test carries 40 marks.
WBMSC Recruitment 2024 – Application Fee for exam
The application fee is 200/- rupees only. The fees for SC/ST candidates is 50/- only.
