Baranagar Municipality Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

Minimum Madhyamik pass or equivalent examination. Candidates having higher qualifications are also eligible. However, in the case of candidates possessing higher qualifications, only marks obtained in Madhyamik or equivalent examination will be considered. For calculation of the marks obtained in the Secondary Examination (Madhyamik or equivalent), the aggregate is to be considered (excluding the marks in the additional paper).

Candidates having motivation/experience rendering social service (optional).

Age Limit

Age Limit:- Candidates’ upper age limit should be 30 to 40 years according to their posts. Upper Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC, and 10 years for the PWD category.

Baranagar Municipality Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

• Interviews will be conducted in a ratio of 1:10 for each vacancy of HHW on the basis of marks obtained in the Secondary Examination.
• Marks obtained by the candidate in the Secondary Examination (90% Weightage) Score in an interview (10% weightage).
• The final merit list will be based on the marks obtained in the secondary examination and the interview held together.
