ICAR-IARI Project Associate/Helper Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification–

JRF/Project Associate I –

• Masters/M. Tech degree in Agriculture/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences or related subjects from a recognized University.
• Experience in molecular markers, field phenotyping, and handling of field crops.

Project Associate-I (1st & 2nd year) –

• Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Life Sciences or allied subjects from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Research experience in maize breeding and application of molecular markers.

Project Associate-I (3rd year)–

• Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Life Sciences or allied subjects from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Research experience in maize breeding and application of molecular markers.

Skilled helper –

• 10th pass from recognised board (minimum).
• Experience in field and lab work related to agriculture.

Age Limit

The age Limit for the positions is 35 years. Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years relaxation for SC/ST and woman candidates as per Government/ ICAR guidelines. The minimum age should be of 18 years as of date of the interview.

ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2023 Selection Process

• Candidate Selection will be held through an Interview.
• The exact Date, Time, and Venue for the examination/interview will be mentioned on the official Website https://www.iari.res.in.
• The selected candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is coterminous with the project.
• The candidates will have to compulsorily fill in the application form (as per the format annexed), all the scan certificates from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate, NET/equivalent certificate, degree certificate either original or provisional, and a recent photograph enclosed onto the scan application form. Proof of experience and publications.
  
• The selected candidate will be required to produce all the original documents and medical certificates when joining.

ICAR-IARI Project Associate/Helper Salary

JRF/Project Associate I –

Rs. 31,000 + 24% HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC
NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. OR 25,000/- + 24% HRA for others who do not fall under above.

Project Associate-I (1st & 2nd year) –

Rs. 31,000 per month +24% HRA for 1st & 2nd year and Rs. 35,000, 24% per month HRA for 3rd year.

Project Associate-I (3rd year)–

Rs. 31,000 24% HRA per month.

Skilled helper –

Rs. 20,357 (Consolidated) per month as per Delhi wage norms.
